On September 23rd, Steve adds to his growing experience as an expert presenter on Adlerian Psychology (over 36 professional presentations to date!) as he joins in on the 2016 Social Living Conference at Mount Mary University in Milwuakee WI.  Participants in this year's conference will have not one but two opportunities to learn from Dr. Saiz's wealth of knowledge on all things Adler.

In his 90 minute presentation Social Interest: A Default Setting for Life participants will deepen their appreciation for the Adlerian concept of social interest.  Social interest is the nuanced construct that  points the way to both individual wellness as well as social betterment in Adlerian psychology.   Participants can walk away with an appreciation for social interest that will offer significance to enriching one's own personal life, just as it illuminates aspects of the human experience offering profound revelations to be applied to clinical work and the healing of others.  Invariably, these insights will resonate with this year's conference theme of Community and Healing, with social interest serving as somewhat of a linch pin between the two.

Dr. Saiz will also offer a 60 minute presentation, Trust Only Movement: Understanding Essential Adlerian Concepts, taking a reflective account on Adler's astute observation "Trust only movement, life happens at the level of events not words".  Steve will guide participants on a lively and intriguing journey of some 32 Adlerian concepts.  Through this experience, participants will develop a considered appreciation for the emergence of one's life movement (frequently referred to as life style) and the manner in which this trajectory shapes and determines so much of our life outcomes.  More than an appreciation for what "pathology" looks like through an Adlerian lens, participants will also gain an understanding for what secure mental health looks like.

Persons interested in learning more about Adlerian Psychology don't pass up this opportunity to learn from Dr. Saiz, as he joins us as our guest coming from the state of South Dakota.  Dr. Saiz's great reputation throughout the national Adlerian community make him a perfect addition to our anticipated conference this year.
